Isaiah 42:6-7 (NIV)
“I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
WORD:
Knowing your purpose sets you on a path that could define the reasons for your existence. The great redemption plan of God is to recall all men, not just the Jews to the saving knowledge of His will. You have a God given mandate to not just exist but become an instrument of redemption and deliverance. God promises protection, promotion and the power to reach out with His word and draw men to kingdom. As gentiles ourselves it will be unselfish to not extend our new found faith in Christ with our brethren. As a child of light, you can walk into the dark places and release those stuck with no way out, share the enlightened glory of the word to heal the blind of falsehood, and break free those stuck in psychological and emotional prisons. Yes you have the authority to make these things happen. Seriously, you do.
PRAYER:
Give me the strength and wisdom to be an instrument of light, hope and freedom to the world. Let my covenant life be a blessing to all men, women and children. Uphold me with you righteous hand Oh Lord, Amen.
