Isaiah 55:5 (NIV)
Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.”
WORD:
This is a promise that hinges on the blessed assurances of God. This is one of my favorites by far. The Holy one of Israel is now committed to all who receive and profess Jesus as Lord. This places you front and center for this inherited promise. God has endowed you already with splendor and with blessings upon your life however you see it. This will bring men and women all over to you not as Lord, but to be impacted by your knowledge of Him. In other words, you will do well and become a sign and a wonder. People will want to know your secret(s) for success and you will tell them, “Not by might nor power but by His spirit” Zech 4:6 or “if it had not been the Lord on my side..”Ps 124:2). You are God’s child and that comes with benefits. If you haven’t started yet, the probate is ready.
PRAYER:
From a heart of gratitude O Lord, let my life be a real testimony to your glory. Let my heart yearn for you till eternity. In Jesus’ name I pray.
