Isaiah 54:2-3 (NIV)
“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
WORD:
This is a re-assurance of a promise God made to Abraham. Though some of us may not be direct biological descendants of Abraham, we have inherited every promise through our association with Christ. You must be intentional about what you want out of the promises of God for you. You will be your greatest limitation not on purpose mostly but due to your inabilities of conceiving what is possible and a lack of faith. Why don’t you put your God to the test this week and begin the process of conceptualizing what you really want. Dream beyond your imaginations, write the visions down and begin the process of achievement. God is always willing to do far more than what we want or desire. Enlarge your tents and claim more. Raise the standard and achieve more.
PRAYER:
Help me O God to see beyond my limitations so I can walk in the promise of your assured word. I will rise and shine. In Jesus’ name I pray.
