Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
WORD:
Jesus the son of God redefined what our faith should look like. As the great high priest, he ascended into heaven to continue his priestly duties of leading us to the presence of God the father. We are like lost sheep and would always need to be guided and led to places of pasture and comfort. Christ knows how and has taught us what to do should we find ourselves lost, tired or confused. We just need to remember his words which are life and redemptive. Jesus died for you and His blood will always speak for you even in the most distrusting situations. All you have are His words which happen to be the most potent for your professed faith. If it is Christ you profess, then it is definitely worth protecting and holding on to. It will make you prosperous and whole.
PRAYER:
I confess my moments of weakness and faithlessness. I will hold on to your words O Lord and trust in you forever. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name.
