Joshua 10:14 (GNT)
Never before, and never since, has there been a day like it, when the LORD obeyed a human being. The LORD fought on Israel's side!
WORD:
Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stop so he could finish the destruction of 5 Amorite kings who had risen to attack his territory and God allowed it. This was a clear example of a man realizing the power of God within him and his courage on full blast. When you trust God and absorb him into your entire being, you inherit the full deity of God’s which is the power of his word. When you exercise this authority, and walk with Christ, there are no impossibilities in your path. Take dominion over that which torments and stands in your way. God’s word has more power than your anger and fist. Use your(His) words and win.
Prayer:
Help me Lord to realize your power within my being and the abilities within my mouth. Give me utterance when needed and teach me to be quiet when the time comes. In Jesus’ Name I pray.
