Romans 12:9 (NIV)
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
WORD:
Paul writes to the Romans who at the time, were engaged in all kinds of wickedness, evil, and hypocritical acts. God is the foundation of love. Jesus became the ultimate model: He lived it, gave up his life, showed no hatred and gave us a demonstration of how to live with one another. Hate evil, reject bigotry, love your brother, do your father’s bidding and uphold that which is good. Bless the Lord today because his love bought us life and your love towards fellow men has the same ability to brighten up someone’s world. Bless someone today, it’s a good feeling.
PRAYER:
Father let your fire of love burn in our hearts so that we can outshine evil deeds and darkness. Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice of love. In Jesus name I pray.
