Psalm 146:7-8 (NIV)
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.
WORD:
I have heard people question the speed of God’s justice. The thinking is that, when they pray to God, there has to be an instant response. God has to move in the event that we are wronged or offended. He actually does but the underlying truth is that it happens on his time because it is his watch. God will always come through when we need him the most. This is a personal testament to the accuracy and constancy of God. The delay of God’s Judgement is an act by grace so we can all come to repentance-both the offender and the offended. Trust him with it there’s nothing to lose anyway.
PRAYER:
Give me the strength to believe in your omnipotence and not doubt the ability of your word. I am alive because you O Lord have kept me despite my sins. In Jesus' Name.
