Luke 5:5 (NLT)
“Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”
WORD:
This is Simon, a chief fisherman who had fished all his life and knew all the tricks of the trade. Jesus knew what his problem was and had a plan for Simon. He first used his boat to preach and Peter let him without objection. And then Jesus later on asked him to cast his net for a catch. Sometimes we just have to obey God’s leading with humility and allow him to move in our lives. Obedience is a vital key for receiving from God. God's wisdom extends beyond our earthly intelligence and knowledge. Trade the little you have for his abundance. God is always right and you can trust him with your life. He will surely make it better.
PRAYER:
Oh Lord, I am ready for the next level. Come lead and direct my ways unto godliness and purpose. If I am lost, please re-route me to the path leading my destiny. In Jesus’ name I pray.
